About OKB-1 Creative Design Bureau

OKB-1 Creative Design Bureau is an independent digital engineering studio focused on 3D CAD reconstruction, dataset creation, and technical documentation for students, hobbyists, and young engineers.

This site functions as the central portfolio and archive of my engineering work — ranging from historical aircraft reconstructions to technical laboratory datasets built for academic use.

What I Do

I specialize in:

  • High-fidelity 3D CAD restoration Rebuilding discontinued, rare, or undocumented aircraft and mechanical designs using engineering sketches, archival drawings, and parametric CAD workflows.

  • Modern digital re-engineering Creating improved, re-imagined, or future-concept versions of existing engineering projects using SolidWorks, surface lofting, and clean NURBS modeling.

  • Engineering datasets & lab archives Producing complete experimental datasets for education — including sensor calibration, electronics labs, airflow experiments, and mechanical testing.

  • Technical documentation Clean, student-friendly, and professional-grade documentation to help others learn engineering fundamentals.

Why I Publish My Work

Most of these projects come from years of personal archives, university work, and side R&D experiments that would normally stay hidden on a hard drive. I publish them so:

  • Engineering students can learn from real examples

  • Hobbyists can use the models for CFD, rendering, 3D printing, or research

  • Fellow engineers can study rare aircraft geometries that are otherwise lost

  • The community can access clean, reliable datasets without paywalled textbooks

About the Name

The name OKB-1 is a nod to historical aerospace design bureaus — a place where ideas, prototypes, and experimental designs are developed with technical rigor and creativity.
