Aircraft Projects
This section compiles all aviation-related work produced over the last several years, ranging from historical CAD restorations to modern aerodynamic analysis. The purpose of these projects is not only to recreate legacy airframes but also to explore engineering decisions, structural layouts, and aerodynamic performance characteristics through modern digital tools.
Most models presented here originate from limited archival material such as brochures, partial drawings, engineering sketches, or museum references. Each aircraft is rebuilt with accurate proportions and geometry, followed by surface checks and manufacturing-style cleanup. Some projects include CFD studies, stability observations, or structural approximations, depending on the available data.
These aircraft reconstructions represent a mixture of educational research, engineering curiosity, and digital preservation work. Many of the aircraft featured here never entered full production, making the CAD models useful for historical reference or conceptual aerodynamic study.

Dassault Mercure CAD Project
Dassault Mercure — 3D CAD Restoration Project
This project is a high-fidelity 3D CAD reconstruction of the Dassault Mercure 100, a short-range French airliner that has become one of the rarest commercial aircraft in aviation history. The model is built from scratch using archival drawings, scattered technical references, and photographic measurement techniques.
N-2130 CAD Project
N-2130 Project — 3D CAD Restoration Project
This project is a fully reconstructed 3D CAD model of the IPTN N-2130, Indonesia’s ambitious 100–130 seat jetliner project that never reached production. The model is created from surviving brochure material, engineering sketches, promotional mockups, and the small collection of publicly available design references.
The purpose is not simply to visualize the aircraft, but to digitally restore a piece of national aerospace history that almost disappeared into obscurity.
R-2130 CAD Project
A modern re-imagining of Indonesia’s cancelled N-2130, rebuilt as a complete 21st-century digital aircraft.
The R-2130 RegioJet is a modernized digital revival of Indonesia’s unrealized N-2130 jetliner program. This is not an official PTDI product — it is an independent engineering concept, rebuilt in full 3D using modern CAD lofting and surface modeling techniques.
This aircraft is imagined as:
- A next-generation successor to the original N-2130
- A 100–130 seat, A220/E2-class regional jet
- A clean-sheet aerodynamic redesign
- A tribute to Indonesia’s aerospace ambitions
- The entire model is engineered in SolidWorks using true NURBS lofted surfaces, giving it wind-tunnel-grade smoothness and precise aerodynamic form.
- Every external surface — wings, fuselage, nacelles, empennage — is crafted using parametric engineering lofts suitable for 3D printing, rendering, CFD study, and RC design.
VC-10 CAD Project
VC-10 — 3D CAD Restoration Project
This project is a high-fidelity 3D CAD reconstruction of the VC.10 and its variations models, a long-range British iconic airliner that has become one of the Cold-War retro-aesthethic commercial aircraft in aviation history. The model is built from scratch using archival drawings, scattered technical references, and photographic measurement techniques alongside many existing citations.
VFW-614 CAD Project
VFW-614 – 3D CAD Restoration Project
This project is a high-fidelity 3D CAD reconstruction of the VFW-614 and its experimented models, a reginal jet short-range West German iconic airliner that has become one of the Cold-War retro-aesthethic commercial aircraft in aviation history. The model is built from scratch using archival drawings, scattered technical references, and photographic measurement techniques alongside many existing data and technical drawing scattered around the internet.
